MEETINGS

 

Friends of the Alphabet meets on the second Monday of each month in the Fellowship Hall of Trinity United Methodist Church. A social/library time begins at 7:00. The program on some aspect of calligraphy, book or paper arts begins at 7:30. Past programs have included lectures, demonstrations, mini-exhibits, hands-on projects, and panel discussions.

We also get together at our summer picnic and a holiday party in December. Please feel free to come to one of our meetings and see what we're about!

We will take a close look at Leaves and Vining, how they have been used through the centuries, and how we can use them today. Also, incised calligraphy with clay tile - a hands-on portion of the meeting.
